Christal Ann Simanski is currently an International Affairs Specialist for the U.S. Government. She graduated from the University of Texas, Arlington, as Magna Cum Laude with bachelor degrees in political science and philosophy. Simanski went on to complete her graduate degree at the age of 22 from the University of California, San Diego, in the field of International Affairs. She has previously interned for Innovations for Poverty Action at their field office in Manila and for the State Department, at the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See. Christal has worked on an array of topics to include human rights issues and international migration. She is passionate about environmental conservation and civic involvement.

Stephanie Wong currently works at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. She was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and is a recent graduate from the University of Florida where she studied Political Science, English, and Asian American Studies. Stephanie is passionate about social justice and advocacy, especially with communities of color. In her free time, Stephanie loves eating, traveling, and Yelping.
Nicky De Leon

Dominique “Nicky” De Leon is a Program Coordinator at the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF). She is responsible for supporting a portfolio of programs that advance the voices of women in the field of journalism. Prior to joining the IWMF, Nicky worked at the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders where she focused on women, peace and security issues in South Sudan. Nicky’s passion for working in the field of women’s human rights began in 2011 with an opportunity to participate in the UN Commission on the Status of Women’s annual two-week session at the UN headquarters in New York City. She graduated Cum Laude from Alliant International University with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations.

Walbert Castillo works at USA TODAY as an associate producer where he leads and produces multimedia-based projects. Since joining USA TODAY, Castillo has won a total of three awards as a multimedia producer. Aside from USA TODAY, Castillo worked at CNN as a digital politics reporter/producer and worked as a multimedia communications representative for The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Castillo graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Journalism.

John Victoria consults with businesses to drive sales using digital marketing strategies. He owns his own company, Polianna SEO, which focuses specifically on driving web traffic through search engines. He runs several business development groups and is asked to speak on leveraging the power of the internet. Passionate about personal development and entrepreneurship, he loves reading books, learning from others, and finding niches where he can empower individuals, businesses, and organizations.
